Note: The spelling of the author’s name is correct. But the actually book titles and characters might be spelled differently since I’m literally sounding out the name from hangeul.
Finally! This is my book report that I’ve been promising everyone. Because I’m a man who keeps promises! Hehe.
Guillaume Musso is a rising hot author (in Korea) so I decided to check out his book~ I found it was a really fun book. So, rather than just “Because I love you,” I also read his other books: “Save me,” and “7 years later”!
On the surface, it seems like a simple romance novel, but it also has fantasy and mystery elements. You’ll easily become engaged as if you’re watching a movie.
The story unfolds as Mark tries to find his daughter who has gone missing.
Kunner- Mark’s friend; Aby who dreams of revenge; and Alice the inherited millionaire’s fate tangles making a compelling story.
The author conveys, ‘what is harder than revenge is forgiveness.’
Forgiving others can be very hard but, I think it can be more healing to forgive than administer revenge just because you might feel pain.
Francis Baker leaves a message, “You stoop to your enemy’s level by extracting revenge. But, through forgiveness you become superior to your enemy.” Don’t you think this is a very gripping message? I will always remember this.
I’m going to work harder to become a charismatic man who forgives ^^.
Everyone, please give this book a try~ I highly recommend it!!
